The GDSG drum detacher is an auxiliary machine used for the disintegration of flakes of flour-based products, which are formed due to the pressure exerted by the rollers of regrinding mills.
Its disintegrating action is designed to break up the flakes, pulverizing the flour without affecting the bran parts.
This significantly increases the efficiency of the sifting machines without raising the ash content.
Inside, the product is caught in the air vortex created by the rapid rotation of the beater rotor and projected against the machine’s internal wall. The beater crests, properly oriented, ensure the continuous evacuation of the product. The dynamic balancing of the rotating parts guarantees vibration-free and quiet operation.
The machine consists of a cylindrical housing, with tangentially mounted inlet and outlet connections for the product on the sides, and is equipped with an inspection door.
