The GMAM hammer mill is an impact grinder, ideal for grinding cleaning residues from wheat (light grains, husked grains, broken grains, straw, soybeans, rye, barley, corn, etc.) to be mixed with by-products.
Key features:
- Grinding chamber: Fed by an inlet box that supplies product and cooling air.
- Rotor: Equipped with parallel discs with freely oscillating hammers (high-strength steel) that crush the product at high speed.
- Perforated grid (high-strength steel): Retains larger particles and allows finer ones to pass through.
- Rotating blades: Create a vacuum in the grinding chamber and push the ground product towards the tangential outlet for pneumatic transport up to 15 meters. For longer distances, a pneumatic suction system is required.
- A large front door facilitates maintenance, cleaning, and replacement of hammers and the grid.
