The GDOC in-line flour infestation destroyer – also known as entoleter – is typically used to destroy any insects, their eggs and larvae that may be present in flour.
It is normally used to treat milled products before storage, bagging and/or shipping. The treatment helps preserve the product by preventing the proliferation of insects and pests that could rapidly lead to its deterioration.
The pest elimination process takes place exclusively through mechanical action. The rotor generates a centrifugal action that projects the product at high speed against the pins of the rotor itself and the containment casing. The repeated impacts destroy eggs, larvae and insects present in the product without the use of chemical treatments, while leaving its organoleptic properties unchanged.
The GDOC is designed and manufactured to be installed directly in a pneumatic conveying line, whether operating under pressure or suction.
