The GDOC through-passer flour infestation destroyer – also known as entoleter – is typically used to eliminate any insects, their eggs, and larvae that may be present in flour.
It is commonly employed to treat milled products before storage, bagging, and/or shipping.
The treatment prevents the proliferation of insects and pests, which could quickly lead to product deterioration.
The process of pest elimination occurs mechanically: the rotor generates a centrifugal force that propels the product at high speed, causing it to impact against the rotor pins and the containment casing. Since this is a purely mechanical action, the treatment does not alter the organoleptic characteristics of the product.
This machine is designed and built to be directly integrated into a pneumatic conveying system, whether in pressure or suction mode.
