The GCPV single-channel plansichter or single-body sifter is used for granulometric classification or sieving of milled and broken products. Thanks to its high production capacity, it is often employed as a safety sieve for semolina and flour before bagging or shipping.
The machine consists of two main parts: the sieve frame assembly and the mechanical drive unit. The product enters from the top and progressively passes through the different sieve frames, utilizing the entire screening surface for maximum efficiency. The classified products are directed into two or more discharge outlets located at the bottom.
The sieve frame assembly is fixed to the mechanical drive unit below, which generates the oscillatory motion necessary for sieving and product advancement. Eight oscillating elements support the entire structure, ensuring its functionality. The inlet and outlet connections of the single-channel sifter are linked to the plant’s piping system through flexible fabric sleeves, allowing the machine to move freely.
For parallel processing of different products or high flow rates, we also manufacture a dual-channel version with a central counterweight placed between the two sieve frame assemblies to balance the movement.
