The product flows over a first perforated sieve, where the cereals pass through the holes, while larger impurities are directed to the coarse residue discharge. Then, the cereals move onto a second sieve with smaller holes, which retains the product until discharge, while finer particles (such as sand, soil, and broken grains) pass through the holes and are collected separately.<br \/>\nThe machine consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An oscillating central body, connected to a fixed structure via fiberglass rods that allow movement.<\/li>\n<li>A rotating counterweight, driven by an electric motor, which generates the movement.<\/li>\n<li>Upper frames, made of S235JR carbon steel or stainless steel, for the separation of coarse impurities.<\/li>\n<li>Lower frames, also made of S235JR carbon steel or stainless steel, for the separation of dust and fine fractions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The screening frames can be quickly removed from the back for easy maintenance and replacement of the sieving meshes.<br \/>\nThe rotary separator is often combined with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geassrl.it\/en\/air-separator-gtva-gttc\/\">air separator<\/a> to further remove light fractions, which is installed at the machine&#8217;s discharge and can also be equipped with a magnetic device if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The oscillating movement of the rotary separator allows for an even distribution of the product over the sieves, ensuring thorough cleaning.<br \/>\nFor particularly dirty products, the use of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geassrl.it\/en\/vibrating-separator-gvsp\/\">GVSP vibratory separator<\/a> is recommended, as its vibrations help perform a more intensive, albeit less precise, cleaning compared to the rotary separator.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GRTS rotary separator is used in cereal cleaning to separate impurities based on particle size.
