The GISO intensive scrubber is a machine used in the cleaning of both durum and soft wheat to remove impurities and peripheral bran layers adhering to the kernels. The product is directed into the friction chamber, where a hexagonal rotor intensely stirs and processes it until discharge. A manual gate regulates the pressure and intensity of the scrubbing action.
The abrasive interaction between the rotor, the product, and the perforated casing allows for the separation of impurities, which are expelled through the perforations. Additional scraping surfaces enhance the abrasion effect. Side doors enable real-time monitoring of waste during operation.
An air insufflation system prevents product overheating and keeps the machine clean, requiring waste suction to balance the incoming air and remove dust and residues.
The machine consists of an external frame, a cantilever-mounted rotor, a casing with abrasive surfaces, a manual discharge regulation system, and a fan for air insufflation (optional in some models). Various versions are available depending on the required capacity.
