The GPRP and GPRC models are sample extractors designed to collect representative product samples during transit in pneumatic conveying systems or gravity chute pipes, respectively.
The control of both systems can optionally be managed by a programmable unit to set the sampling frequency and duration, ensuring the creation of a representative sample. The unit is integrated into the sample collection system.
GPRP model:
- Used for sampling milled products or semolina in pressurized pneumatic conveying systems.
- Installed in vertical sections of the conveying system, it extracts small amounts of product through the controlled opening of an internal orifice.
- The sampled product is decanted by a small cyclone equipped with a filter sock and directed to the sample collector.
GPRC model:
- Designed for sampling milled or granular products in gravity chute pipes.
- Timed sampling diverts a small portion of the product flow to the sample collector through a flexible tube.
- Composed of a fixed machine body with one inlet and two outlets (main flow and sampled product) and a rotating part controlled by a pneumatic cylinder to divert the product.
The sample extractor is usually paired with a sample collector.
